Registration Information: 
If this is your first time visiting the registration page, be sure to clear your browsing history/cache to view this page properly and complete your profile information for our records, including adding your college and department from the dropdown list in the profile. This is where you will note any accessibility needs including dietary restrictions. Our programs are intended for JMU faculty or staff only! If you are a student or administrator and would like to attend please email cfi@jmu.edu with your request.

Registration Deadline and Cancellation Policy for this event

Register by: Wednesday at 5pm, approximately 1-1/2 weeks prior to the Friday scheduled session. If the session is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist. You will be contacted by email to complete a survey for your availability, should space becomes available and then notified by email and asked to confirm if space becomes available.

Cancellations 

If you find that you are unable to attend a scheduled event prior to the registration deadline, please return to your "CFI Program Account" and cancel your registration.

If it is after the deadline, please email cfi@jmu.edu as early as possible to avoid being waitlisted for future events. We value your interest in this popular writing retreat; however, due to the high demand of faculty interest for this program, a registered participant who doesn't attend one of these scheduled events without prior notification to CFI may result in being waitlisted for future writing retreats this semester. We appreciate your respect for our programs and others that wish to attend.

 

Enroll Yourself with the purple button above (adds the event to your cart). You will sign in with your JMU eID and password and submit, then complete the program registration. Program Dates: 2/3, 3/3, 4/7, 5/05.

We are offering breakfast, an am writing block, lunch and an afternoon writing block. Register for the entire day, the morning or afternoon blocks. However, you must select at least one writing block option other than the meals with your registration.

CFI programs will be canceled automatically if JMU is closed for inclement weather. We want this program to be welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for all of our participants.
