2024 Faculty Community Welcome is a half-day mini-conference that invites new JMU faculty to discover what JMU is about, make connections with colleagues, explore JMU resources that support their work, and engage in professional development of their choice. This program welcomes full-time as well as part-time faculty.

  • 11:30 AM - 1 PM: Check-in and Networking Lunch, Resource Fair (Hall of Presidents in D-Hall)
  • 1:15 - 2:45 PM: Workshops and other sessions (Wilson Hall)
  • 3 - 3:45 PM: JMU Libraries and IT - What You Need to Know (Hall of Presidents in D-Hall)
  • 3:45 - 4:45 PM: Student Services Resource Fair and Closing Reception (Hall of Presidents in D-Hall)
