New Faculty Welcome is JMU's new faculty orientation program, which will help you get started, connect with your new colleagues, and become oriented to the institution and its culture.
Program Outline
- 8:15 - 9:10 a.m. - Check-In and Breakfast (Hall of Presidents in D-Hall)
- 9:10 - 9:45 a.m. - President and Provost Remarks (HoP)
- 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Workshop Sessions (Moody Hall)
- 12:15 - 12:30 p.m. - Athletic Director Remarks (HoP)
- 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. - Lunch (HoP)
- 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. - Photos with Duke Dog (HoP)
- 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. - Panel Presentation (HoP)
- 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. - Resource Fair (HoP)
- 4:00 p.m. - Reception (HoP)
Registration is required. Breakfast, lunch, and reception are included!
Upon registration, you will receive both an online and email confirmation. Please be sure to save your email for referencing on the day of the program.
